Around the beautiful island

We’re keen to show you round our beautiful island because, quite simply, we’re so proud of it. The heritage, the culture, the delightfully friendly people. That’s why we’ve created spectacular excursions for you to enjoy, catering for all manner of moods and tastes.

To ask for prices or book an excursion, contact our Romance Concierge before you leave home – or enquire at the front desk when you arrive here. There’s so much to see and do.

  • Dolphin Cove Negril

Get up and close with these beautiful marine mammals, swim with them, hear them chatter back to you. While you’re here, take a glass-bottomed boat tour, take the Jungle Trail walk or just relax on the beach.

  • Black River Safari & Y.S. Falls Tour

Climb aboard the boat and come with us on a stunning water safari. Observe flora and fauna – and then plunge yourself into the cooling waters at Y.S. Falls.

  • Abseiling over the trees.

Discover the rainforest from above by traversing a wire high at 35mph above the tree canopy. It’s fantastic fun and enlightening. All the equipment is provided.

  • Rhodes Hall Horseback Riding

Take your trusty steed along a mountain trail, through stunning bamboo groves and then visit still and relaxing ponds. After that, there’s another treat in store – a bird and crocodile sanctuary. Finally, wade through the shores of the Rhodes Mineral Bay.

  • Horseback Ride N' Swim

The beautiful Blue Hole Estate is covered in the evergreen mountains. From there, you’ll be able to gaze at the amazing coastline and visit the ruins of the historic sugar estate, established in the 1700s.

  • Appleton Estate, Black River & Y.S. Falls Tour

This is a truly spectacular excursion; three in one. Discover the wonderful south coast of the island, take in a tour of The Appleton Estate, home to the world’s finest rums, take a cooling plunge at Y.S. Falls, and then climb aboard our boat for a trip along the Black River. Here be crocodiles…

  • Mayfield Falls

En route to the Falls, you’ll journey through rural villages and see a slice of real Jamaican life, get a real sense of our culture. Then relax under the Falls or say goodbye to stress by soaking in one of the 20 natural mineral springs.

  • Ocho Rios Dunn’s River Falls and bamboo rafting

The northern coast of Jamaica is a place to behold. Try bamboo river rafting and have a go on a Tarzan rope, landing in the water. Then we move on to amazing Dunn’s River Falls where you can have a good splash about or a leisurely swim.

  • Ocho Rios Dunn’s River Falls and Dolphin Cove

Another spectacular excursion, this day-long trip features swimming with tame bottlenose dolphins who will click and clack at you in encouragement. Then we take a short trip to Dunn’s River Falls where you can sit and watch the waterfall or – who cares? – just jump right into the water.

  • Ultimate Kayak

Here, you can tackle a two-mile kayaking course, hike, abseil and loosen your vocals on the Tarzan rope – we want to hear that call. You know how it goes. There’s plenty of opportunity for swimming and relaxing, too.

  • Ride the Waves & Horseback Riding

Have the run of a 900-acre farm estate on horseback where you may see ostriches, peacocks, pheasants, cockerels, and ducks. Then take your horse for a canter along the beach, tie him up and go for a swim in the beautiful warm sea.

  • Jeep safari

Spectacular views and a real view of local culture can be seen from the comfortable 4 x 4. We’ll stop at a former slave hospital that was converted into a church in 1846 and you’ll be able to wander round the ruins of a 1700s sugar factory.

  • Abseiling adventure tours

Your trip of discovery starts with a ride in a 6 x 6 off-roader followed by abseiling over the jungle tree canopy and topped with a trek over a 250-foot-high jungle bridge.

  • ATV Safari

Put an all-terrain vehicle through its paces at 2,200 feet above sea level. You’ll have the opportunity to ride through local communities and chat to some of the friendly locals along the way. They’re always pleased to see you.

  • Rick's Café

One of Negril’s most popular places to just sit and watch the sun go down. Cocktail? Well, it’s got to be a sundowner, hasn’t it?

  • Negril Hilite

Visit the lighthouse, do some duty-free shopping and then relax at Rick’s Café in Negril. Watch the cliff divers – we don’t know how they do it, honestly we don’t…

  • Private Boat Cruise

Sail away from it all and relax on your own private boat cruise, staffed by an experienced, friendly and professional crew.
