Negril is a perfect setting to witness such natural splendor and indeed the place boasts some of the most spectacular sunsets. The orange hue of the Negril sunset is unique, superb, and unlike any other when compared with other places in the world. The dusky orange rays fill the sky at 5pm and the dazzling golden sun descends on the horizon casting a hazy glow across the island.

Celebrations were in full swing earlier this month for our cookery team at Couples Resorts. It was time for one of Jamaica’s most anticipated food events in the Caribbean calendar – the Jamaica Observer’s Food Awards. Our Corporate Executive Chef, Stefan Spath was honoured as a Master Chef at the festival. Hosted on the grounds of Devon house in Kingston, the annual festival (in it’s 15th year) recognised the excellence in food creation, service and event décor.
